Premier's Reading Challenge

Premier Mike Rann of South Australia is promoting children's reading in a big way, with the help of celebrity athletes, South Australian authors (Phil Cummings, Mem Fox, and Amanda Graham are all official Ambassadors for the program), and others. For more information, or to see the book lists for the various age ranges, use title link.

From the "Message from the Premier" on the home page:

And you'll discover that reading is not just about learning things.

It’s about being amused, interested, scared, shocked and surprised.

And it's about having fun, too!

Schools with outstanding numbers of students completing the Premier's Reading Challenge will be invited to a special reception with the Premier late this year.

Let the challenge begin - and continue!
