The goal, as stated, is "...to write at least one limerick for each and every word in the English language..."
I should add that they have a screening process to preclude patently offensive ones as well as overly clunky ones. This is apparently all in fun, and very international (which means you get some interesting spellings and other regionalisms). They are currently "...working on all words beginning with aa- through ba- inclusive."
Everyone who loves the English language and limericks is invited to participate.
