2005 National Scout Jamboree Subcamps: Great modern-day American explorers

As it says at the 2005 National Scout Jamboree website:
The 2005 jamboree subcamps are being named after great modern-day American explorers. All of the explorers are members of the Explorers Club in New York City, and many of them have been Scouts. Their accomplishments and achievements are an example for our Scouts of what is possible when you dedicate yourself to the pursuit of expanding mankind's knowledge and the quest to go where others have not yet gone.
There are twenty explorers so honored. The website has brief write-ups for each of them - William I. Koch, Dr. S. Allen Counter, Steven W. Squyres, Jose I. Castro, Michael Manyak, Steve Fossett, Ken Kamler, James A. Lovell, Jim Whittaker, Jim Fowler, Scott Carpenter, James Dewey Watson, Don Walsh, Richard C. Wiese, Robert D. "Bob" Ballard, Richard Wiese Sr., Donald C. Johanson, William "Doc" Forgey, Joseph Kittinger Jr., and Will Steger.

This year's Jamboree starts July 25.
