The Road to Reality, by Roger Penrose

Michael Shermer, the publisher of Skeptic magazine and a regular columnist for Scientific American, reviews Roger Penrose's "The Road to Reality" (Alfred A. Knopf, 1,099 pages, $40) and finds it worthy. People seriously interested in physics and/or math might want to check it out.
