Saturday, October 22, 2005 Biologists find wolf sightings credible

Jayson Jacoby reports in the Baker City Herald that at least a couple of this year's reported sightings of wolves in eastern Oregon are by men who can be expected to know a wolf from a coyote or somebody's pet wolf-dog hybrid. He also looks at the evidence against there being a wolf pack in Oregon these days, as opposed to lone wolves or the occasional pair wandering through.
