ADF: County three-acre requirement for churches struck down by Georgia court

Douglas County, Georgia, officials have been told by a Georgia trial court that they can't arbitrarily require that houses of worship be on three acres.

To add a bit of Jonathan Swift flavor to the case in question, the Victory Family Life Church, which had been denied a special land use permit, was on (ahem), 2.8 acres.

(I know, I know, you have to draw the line somewhere. But what a silly case for the officials to have pressed.)
