The Orange County Register recently ran a three part feature story on the background of an American who does propaganda work for al-Qaida (aka Al Qaeda). Bad enough as it would be in any case, the radical's grandfather was a Jewish man known for his humanitarian work. A secular Jew, to be sure, but still... When the series was titled "Radical conversion" I'm pretty sure they meant it in more ways than one.
