Somehow I'd missed the story behind the movie Facing the Giants. Amazing.
Did you know it was produced by a Baptist church and that all the actors and most of the crew were volunteers? Now, that's a community theater project!

I want to see Facing the Giants! I was telling my dad about it. They had the two guys that came up with the idea on Fox and Friends the other morning and when they said it was completely done with volunteers and the church fed everyone - well it was wonderful!
Anna, This is one of those rare times I wish we still had a movie theater around here. I either have to make a long trip over mountains or wait for the DVD if I want to see a movie.
Enjoy! I'd love to see the box office stats on this rock Hollywood (which I guess is happening already to some degree).
