Oh my goodness. Iraqis at Tadji Military Base have collected 1,000,000 Iraqi dinars for victims of Hurricane Katrina. They had to give up a lot to do that. Wow. (And thank you!)

The outpouring to America has been really satisfactory, considering how the press has been inundating us for years with stories about how everyone hates us. Some, I know, are contributing because they're enjoying "the shoe is on the other foot" feeling of on-upping America, but I believe that most are doing it out of the goodness of their hearts.
