Tennessee allows some commercial sales from home kitchens

Via Like Merchant Ships, earlier this year Tennessee changed its rules on commercial preparation of food in home kitchens. The idea is to support a growing cottage industry while protecting the public. There are hoops to jump through and a fee to pay and a certificate to earn, and some food products are still restricted to commercial kitchens, but, on the whole, it sounds like this opens up new options for competent, home based cooks. Actual rules here (pdf).
