Tapscott's Copy Desk: House Panel Told Internet, Bloggers Key to More Transparency in Government

Mark Tapscott recounts his testimony this week in front of a House subcommittee regarding the Freedom of Information Act and how well it has and hasn't been working so far.

He has several other FOIA-related posts, if you're interested.

Tapscott is the Director of The Heritage Foundation's Center for Media and Public Policy, and teaches Computer-Assisted Research and Reporting (otherwise known as "CARR") to journalists.
