Every odd year (i.e. every year ending in an odd number) the Yorke Peninsula of South Australia hosts what is billed as "The World's Largest Cornish Festival". The current one is underway.
I worked in the Black Hills of South Dakota one summer, and fell in love with the homemade Cornish pasties at a tiny family-run grocery store within walking distance of where I lived. If you're by any chance at the Kernewek Lowender, buy a pastie and enjoy it in my name, all right? :)
