Social Science Statistics Blog: The Value of Control Groups in Causal Inference (and Breakfast Cereal)
OK, so I don't remember the last time I laughed out loud reading about anything related to proper statistical research methods. This did it.
We have a saying around this part of the world about a tough guy being someone who 'eats nails for breakfast'. (Although, to be sure, I haven't heard it used much lately.) I'm sure there's some way to work that in to all this, but I haven't come up with it yet. (At least not in a way that ought to trigger laughs instead of groans.) :-)
